လေးသမား၏မြား

လေးသမားသည် မြားကို ဖြောင့်အောင်ပြုသကဲ့သို့ ပညာရှိသည် (အာရုံတို့၌)တုန်လှုပ်၍လျပ်ပေါ်လော် လည်ခြင်း သဘောရှိသော စောင့်ထိန်းရန် တားမြစ်ရန် ခက်ခဲသောစိတ်ကို ဖြောင့်အောင်ပြု၏။ The mind is restless, unsteady, hard to guard, hard to control. The wise man makes it straight, like a Fletcher straightens his arrows.

ဓမ္မပဒ

အနှစ်မရှိသောတရား၌ အနှစ်ရှိ၏ဟု အယူရှိကြကုန်၏၊ အနှစ်ရှိသော တရား၌မူကား အနှစ်မရှိဟု အယူရှိကြကုန်၏၊ ထိုသူတို့သည် မှားသော ကြံစည်မှုလျှင် (ကျက်စားရာ)အာရုံ ရှိကြကုန်ရကား အနှစ် ရှိသောတရားကို မရနိုင်ကြကုန်။ Those who consider truth in untruth, and see untruth in truth, do not reach the truth, lost in the path of wrong views.
